Mrs. Juanita Wright Williams

Mrs. Juanita Wright Williams

Beloved Mother, Daughter, and Sister

On July 13, 1950, Juanita was born to the parentage of the late Normie L. Wright, Sr. and Hazel Hicks Wright. She was the eldest of nine children born to this union. Juanita certainly fought a good fight and now has finished her course.

At an early age, Juanita became a member of Judea Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Bolden and as an adult, she was inspired by God to hold many positions in the church.

Juanita received her education at Smithland Elementary School, later she graduated from Central High School and attended East Texas State University.

Juanita met and later married the late Willie Rhoden, and to this union a son, Anthony Craig, was born.

In her later years, Juanita would return to Jefferson and would resume her fellowship with Judea Baptist Church and would serve as a member of the Adult Choir, Usher Board, Hospitality Committee, as the Church Announcing Clerk, and was inspired to start the fundraiser to purchase the stove for the cafeteria. Juanita worked where she was needed.

Juanita is preceded in death by her Parents: Normie & Hazel Wright, Her Brother: Frank Wright, and Her Husband, Willie Rhoden.

She leaves to cherish her memory, A Son: Anthony Craig Rhoden (Rhonda), Eight Siblings: Mildred Coats (Hubert), Wilma McCoy, Margrett Martin(Gerald), Marilyn Wright, Lee Wright, Normie Wright, Jr., Dave Wright (Jamie) and Tilford Wright and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Rest In Peace, NeNe
