Mr. Willie "Bubba" Rogers Alexander, Sr.

Willie “Bubba” Alexander was called to his eternal rest on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. He was reunited in eternity with his parents, Rosevelt “Preacher” Alexander and Johnnie Mae Oliver Alexander, and siblings Webster Alexander, James Oliver, Shirley Grant, Earlie Bee Walters, and Rosie Mary Singleton. He attended Central school. In his early years he served as a deputy with the Marion County Sheriff’s department and worked as a Machinist for several years until he retired.

As a member of Judea Baptist church, he served as the cemetery caretaker for several years. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys since the Roger Staubach era. You could always count on enjoying a good western movie when you went to visit him. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Bubba” to many in the community.
