Mr. Venson Alcendoe Hodge

Venson Alcendoe Hodge (Buck) was born March 27, 1968, to the late Roscoe Hodge, Jr. and Carolyn Love Hodge. He graduated from Linden-Kildare High School in 1986 and was a 1990 graduate of Jarvis Christian College, Hawkins, TX.

Venson accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Damascus Baptist Church, Lodi, TX, and later joined First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park, Dallas, TX. He had a passion and anointing for singing. He was a member of several choirs over the years, where he shared his gift and love of singing.

Venson worked for the Jones Day Law Firm, Dallas, TX, for 31 years, as a Purchasing Manager. He enjoyed the love and comradery of his co-workers.

Venson was preceded in death by his Father: Roscoe, Jr.; Grandparents: Wilburn and Anna Love, and Roscoe Sr. and Lucille Hodge; and Brother: Tracy Hodge.
