
Ms. Valdean Muldrew
Beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Friend
Ms. Valdean (Val) Muldrew, 70, of Houston, Texas, left this world, peacefully, surrounded by family, at St. Lukes Hospital in Sugarland, TX on October 1, 2025. For the believer, “To be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord – 2 Corinthians 5:8.
Born, February 2, 1955, In the Historical Town of Washington, Arkansas. “Home of the Largest Watermelon” to the proud parents of Mr. Eddie Muldrew and Catherine Muldrew.
During (Val’s) teenage years, the family relocated to Richmond, California where Val
graduated high school and attended Contra Costa College where she took courses in
short-hand and Secretarial Administration.
Val worked for the San Quinton Prison System in California for many years. Val accepted Christ and was a member of The Ever-Ready Baptist Church, Rev Daniel Kates, Pastor.
Val gave birth to her only child (Daughter) Latasha Allan (whom she loved to death)
while also living in California. Val loved hosting parties for family and friends, traveling
and living her life to the fullest. During her mid-forties, Val would relocate to Kansas City, Missouri. While in Kansas City, Val worked as a Supervisor for a Pottery Light Company and as a Manager of The Lottery Ticket Division. Val also met her best friend Margaret L. Bedell and her favored companion of over 10-yrs Ronald aka (Ron) while living in Kansas City.
After the passing of her favored companion (Ron), Val again relocated to be with family
in Houston, Texas where she would spend the rest of her life with family and friends.
Val joined The Fountain of Praise, Sr. Pastor Remus K. Wright and loved attending church events. Val loved shopping, family parties/trips, Popeyes chicken, watermelon, her dog-grandson Stinker Mann, dog-nephew Snupe and Gizmo’, trips to the Casino and doing her own thang.
Val was a faithful Donator to the St. Judes Children Cancer Fund and the Dog Humane
Society.

God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Angels. Father, Eddie Muldrew, Grand-Father, Eunice C Muldrew, Grandmother, Laura Raglon, Brothers: Cecil Brooks, Eddie G. Muldrew Jr., Sister: Katherine (Kathy) Muldrew, Favorite Aunt-Vera Johnson, Cousin Fred W. Raglon (Webb) and a host of other relatives and friends.
Val will be missed by all.
