Ms. Selina Ann Jackson

Beloved Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend

There are some souls who walk this earth so gently, so full of unconditional love, that they leave an everlasting imprint on everyone they touch. Selina Ann Jackson was truly an earth angel.

Selina Ann Jackson was born in Rockdale, Texas, on September 19, 1950. Her parents were Imie Mae Ledbetter and Emory Ledbetter.

She attended school in Rockdale, Texas, and graduated from Rockdale High. She later relocated to Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Los Angeles Community College. She then married Cornelius Roberts, and from that union, she gave birth to two daughters, Stacy and Carlena Roberts. She then relocated to Houston, Texas, where she worked at St. Joseph Hospital for many years until she retired.

In 2000, she united with James Jackson and formed a blended family. From that union came Alicia, Marcus, and Quinson Jackson.

She was without a doubt the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and most of all the best friend anyone could ask for. Her love wasn't just spoken; it was felt in every warm embrace, every comforting word, and every quiet sacrifice she made for her family. To know her was to love her, and everyone who knew her would often say that they wished they had a mother like her. She had a unique gift for making people feel seen, cherished, and safe.

Selina and James later moved back to her hometown of Rockdale, Texas, and attended New Hope Baptist Church, where she served as an usher under the leadership of Rev. Jackson. She also hosted the best family reunions and always thought of everyone; she made sure the kids had a water slide or something to do while the adults held a raffle for gifts and prizes. After her heart transplant, she moved to Missouri City, Texas, with her daughter.

She leaves behind a legacy of profound love that will live on in the hearts of her children, family, and all the lives she touched. Though our world has changed forever without her light, we take comfort in knowing that her beautiful spirit is finally at peace.

Selina Ann Jackson is proceeded in death by her Parents: Imie Mae Ledbetter and Emory Ledbetter; her Husband: James Jackson; her Daughter: Stacy Roberts; and her Brothers: Jerry and Skipp Ledbetter.

As we celebrate Selina's life, we remember a woman whose heart knew no bounds, whose table always had room for one more, and whose generosity transformed ordinary moments into lasting memories. Her legacy is not measured by the years she lived, but by the love she shared so freely and the countless people
fortunate enough to call her family and friends.
Well done, Selina! Your journey was beautiful, your love was abundant,
and your memory will forever remain in our hearts.
