Mrs. Wilma Louise Smith

Wilma Louise Smith was born in Mangham, Louisiana on November 11, 1940, to the union of Hubert Johnson and Josephine Johnson. Wilma L. Smith began her journey with the Lord at an early age and was baptized at Holly Grove Baptist Church Rayville, Louisiana (Sugarhill).

Wilma graduated from Alto High School. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Billy “Blue” Smith of Mangham, LA.

Wilma Smith departed this life on November 30, 2024.

Wilma is preceded in death by her Parents: Hubert Johnson and Josephine Hill; Husband: Billy Smith; Sisters: Willie Mease Spears, Maxine Richardson, and a Brother: Earl Johnson.

Wilma leaves to cherish her memories with Two Sisters: Ella Mae Applewhite and Barbara Jean Tervalon; Four Children: Andrea Smith, Raymond Smith (Shawnel Smith), Keywanda Smith and Romonica Smith; Grandchildren: Andrea Steptore, Kendrick Smith (Brianna Smith) Todd Smith, Jalessa Smith, Charles Smith, Tiffany Ambrose, Areion Smith, Domonique Smith, along with 23 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



Wilma’s legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
