Mrs. Sylvester Hill Williams
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt
Sylester Hill Williams was born on May 15, 1936, in Victoria, Texas, to Mr. Edward and Maggie Hill. Also born to this union were her siblings: Atleen Ross, Alice Lara, Jewel Terrell, Mary Maggie, Osceola Perkins, Willy Hill, Leonard Hill, and L.Z. Hill.
At an early age, Sylester confessed her belief in Christ, was baptized.
She attended Fort Worth High School. Sylester would meet and later marry Mr. Johnny Williams and to this union a daughter was born, which they named Linda.
Sylester enjoyed singing for the Lord in various choirs ranging from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, singing in the Senior Choir.
After some later time, she would re-unite with the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Daymond A. Wilkins.
She lived life to the fullest!
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
II Timothy 4:7-8
