Mrs. Susan Marie Copelin Wilson

Susan Wilson, 81, of Sugarland, Texas, passed away on November 16, 2024. She was born in Colorado City, Texas, on October 10, 1943 to parents, Walter Tarver and Fran Tarver. Susan grew up in Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama and graduated from Choctaw County High School in Butler, Alabama. She went to college at University of Southern Mississippi where she met her first husband.

She went on to teach in Atlanta Georgia, Washington, New Jersey, and Fort Bend County, Texas. In total she taught for 28 years in public schools and special needs schools. Susan was a member of St Luke’s Lutheran Church in New Jersey from 1979-1990. She also attended and was actively involved in several Church of Christ churches in the Fort Bend County area until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Fran Tarver, and sister Joyce Boney. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Leroy Copelin and her second husband, Delbert R. Wilson.
