Mrs. Sandra Renee Wright

Sandra Renee Moore was born on December 9, 1960, to J.C Moore Sr. and Geraldine Moore. She was born in Houston TX and raised in the heart of Acres Homes. At the age of five she was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. Jacob. In 1971 she joined Wright Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Leon Ford. She attended Booker T. Washington High School where she was named Miss Congeniality along with graduating with honors in the Class of 1979. She was a star track athlete, cheerleader, and was the lead singer of McWilliams Stage Band.

Sandra began her career at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company following in her mother’s footsteps. Throughout her life she accumulated long-term friends who to this day still love and cherish the memories they shared.

Sandra soon married her longtime companion Normie L. Wright Jr. with whom she shared countless memories. To this day, he is still a cherished friend and loving father to the children they shared.

Sandra was an established member of Greater New Hope Baptist Church where Reverend John G. Wilburn was Sr Pastor. She was a faithful member of the choir and made sure her children along with nieces, nephews, and neighborhood friends attended church faithfully.

Sandra transitioned from her Earthly home on June 12, 2003. Although life here on Earth had its challenges, she never abandoned her faith or relationship with the Lord.
Sandra was preceded in death by her Mother: Geraldine Moore, Brother: J.C Moore Jr. and her fur baby GiGi.
