Mrs. Linda Kaye Ursin

Mrs. Linda Kaye Ursin was born on March 20, 1955 in Houston, Texas to the proud parents of Mr. and Mrs. James McCoy, Jr.

Let it be known, Linda was a born-again Christian who was baptized at an early age. Linda was a member of New Elijah Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Kelly and she later became a member of The Abundant Harvest Church, under the leadership of Pastor Harold Marshall, where she served in the Women’s Ministry. It was evident by the life she lived and loved that Linda loved God, family, and friends.

Linda would meet the Love of her life for 45-yrs, Mr. Daryl Winston Ursin while attending Robert E. Lee High School where she was also a graduate. Then (Linda McCoy) married the love of her life on May 20, 1977.

Linda was a registered LVN, (Licensed Vocational Nurse) for over 40-years. Some of the companies that was blessed to have Linda as an employee were Ben Taub, Kindred and Westwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare. all of Houston, Texas.

Linda enjoyed Family Life, attending religious events, and traveling around the world with her (Boo-Daryl) and hanging with her BFF’s.

On Thursday, July 6, 2023, God knocked on the door of Linda’s Spirt and told her it was time to come home to her final resting place. Waiting in heaven to welcome her home is her soul-mate Daryl, her parents: Mr. and Mrs. James McCoy, Jr.; Her Sister: Gwendolyn (Gwen) Jackson; Brother: Wayne Sampson; and Her Niece: Charlotte Hickman. What a reunion!
