Mrs. Elizabeth Whiting Sloan

Elizabeth Whiting Sloan was born on August 4, 1940, in Houston, TX, to Taylor Whiting, Sr., and Albertha Whiting. She was born and raised in the Piney Point community.

Elizabeth was blessed to raise four daughters: Mary Ann, Linda Sue, Ruby Jean, and, Diane.

Eizabeth is preceded in death by her husband: George Sloan; her daughters: Mary Ann, Linda Sue, and Diane; two grandsons: Leon Dupree, and Eric Taylor Whiting; and, her parents: Taylor Whiting, Sr., and Albertha Whiting.

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Elizabeth’s earthly struggles were ended after she heard the Master’s call and took his hand and departed this life.
