Mr. Robert Augester King, Sr.

Robert Auguster King. Sr., was born to Alberta Marie King and Robert Auguster Phillip, Jr., on August 14, 1960. Robert grew up in Houston, Texas and attended Jack Yates High School. Robert King devoted over 23 years of his life employed with Fingers Furniture where he retired in 2003. Robert enjoyed over 25 years of retirement and passed away on July 1st 2025.

Robert was married to Tracey King for 12 years, and they had 3 wonderful children: Robert King, Jr., Michelle King, and Samantha King. Robert was a great father who devoted his time to caring and providing for his 3 kids. His kids enjoyed their childhood learning fundamentals, and life lessons in their father’s presence. Robert loved a clean home, listening to music, and going out to eat with his family.

Robert is preceded in death by his Mother: Alberta Maria King, Father: Robert Auguster Phillip, Jr.; Brother: Garry King; Sister: Ellen Richmond (Cookie), and his youngest Brother: Wallace King; Uncle: Lonnie B. Meredith, Nephews: Robert Lee Richmond and David Lee King.
