Michael Marcel Mitchell, lovingly known as, “Tiny Head,” passed away on July 8, 2025, at Methodist Sugarland Hospital in Sugarland, Texas, at the age of 49. Born on August 16, 1975, at Linden Municipal Hospital in Linden, Texas, Michael lived a life filled with purpose, love, and unwavering devotion to his family
and community.
Michael was born to Norma Mitchell and Marcus Collins. Raised with unwavering love by his mother, he also drew strength and guidance from Don Kimble, who helped shape his values and taught him to walk with purpose as a man. He grew up in Houston, Texas, where he graduated from Independent Electrical
Contractors (ICE) and became a highly respected Master Electrician. Michael traveled across the U.S., installing EV chargers for Tesla, and was later promoted to Quality Control, mentoring others and ensuring excellence in the field.

As a youth, he competed in Junior Olympics, proudly returning with medals in the 100 and 200 meters. During his teen years he discovered one of his life’s passions, his love of horses and trail riding. He spent endless days and nights nurturing horses at Mr. Kimble’s neighborhood “Barn”, where he became a proud member of the, “Original Outlaws”, one of Houston’s oldest trail riding crews. He was affectionately known to his family as, “Mr. Fish Fry” and “Wingz N’ Thingz” , for his gift of cooking and feeding both body and soul.
