Mr. James A. Pittman, Sr.
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather,
and Great-Grandfather
On January 26, 1940, James Arthur Pittman was born to the parentage of the late Frank and Mary Pittman in Enfield, North Carolina. James certainly fought a good fight and now has finished his course.
At an early age, James and his family would relocate to Philadelphia, PA and received his formal education here.
James met and would later be joined in Holy Matrimony to the former Ms. Beverly Richardson.
In his later years, James and his family would relocate to Houston, Texas and he would become employed at the Coco-Cola Bottling company and would render 26 years of service before his retirement.
James is preceded in death by his parents and other loved ones.
He leaves to cherish his memory, His Loving Wife: Beverly A. Pittman, Five Children: James A. Pittman, Jr., De’Rick Pittman, Gwendolyn Pittman, Shernia Pittman, and Rosalind Pittman; Step-Children: Jamasia Richardson, Nicole Davis, and Monterial Jones; Twenty-Three Grandchildren; 25 Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
