Mr. Floyd Shelby

Floyd Shelby was born on August 1, 1950 to the late Claude and Ollie V.Shelby. He attended Zwolle High School in Zwolle, Louisiana. In 1974 he met Charity Williams to this union they combined their families to produce 7 children. One preceded him in death, Christopher Williams.

Floyd accepted Christ at an early age. Where he was baptized at Haskins Chapel United Methodist Church, in Zwolle, Louisiana. When he moved to Houston, TX he united with Pleasant Green Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon until his health failed.

Floyd was loved by many. He enjoyed playing dominoes, watching football (Texans), basketball (Rockets), and fishing. When NL Atlas Bradford closed he started his own business… Floyd’s Remodeling Services.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and 5 sisters.
