Mr. Eugene Roquemore

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend

Eugene Roquemore, beloved husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on October 12, 1934, in Addicks, Texas, to Leroy Roquemore, Sr. and Rosie Lee Young, he was called to Christ at an early age.

A proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Eugene went on to serve his country in the United States Army. After his military service, he began a career in roofing, before eventually finding his true calling as a bus driver for Texas Bus Lines, where he traveled the great state of Texas and beyond, a role he held with pride until his retirement.

Eugene was a man of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and deep love for his family. For over 60 years he shared his life with his devoted wife, Claudia, building a home filled with love, laughter and enduring memories.

In his spare time he loved to watch sports, sing with his quartet group, play his extensive collection of spiritual records, and be a loving father to his "baby girl", Miracle.

Eugene is preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Leroy Roquemore, Jr.
