Mr. Cedric Hayter

Cedric Hayter is the beloved son of the late Adele Smithe and Annie Faye Hayter. He was born is Houston, Texas, on January 23, 1973.

In his youth, Cedric worshipped and fellowshipped at the 5th Ward Church of God in Christ. He embraced his faith in God and demonstrated it through his dedication to helping others.

Cedric attended Phyllis Wheatley High School in the Greater 5th Ward Community.

Cedric dedicated nearly 15 years to working in the warehouse at OKI Bering, until his health started to decline.

On Sunday, July 21, 2024, Cedric was called to his eternal resting place. He was preceded in death by his parents: Adele Smithe and Annie Faye Hayter; brother, Chester Hayter; sister, Barbara Nell Hayter; and nephew, LeVar Hayter.
