
Mr. Marvin Jackson
Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend
Marvin attended Houston public schools. He graduated from James Madison High School in 1984. He attended Huston-Tillotson University and Houston Community College.
Marvin and Artricia Spiller were married February 20, 1988. They raised two daughters, Marriah Jackson and Tameria Jackson. From a previous relationship, his son, Daniel McKee.
Marvin worked as a chef and manager at Captain Benny’s and Popeye’s. He loved to cook and was well known for his BBQ. Marvin also worked in collections.
In addition, Marvin worked for the Houston Sports and Social Club for nearly 15 years as an umpire and referee, and he also coached a few AAU basketball teams.
Marvin accepted Christ at an early age. He attended New Faith Church and Lakewood Church. Prior to his passing, he attended the Church Without Walls.Marvin served faithfully in the TCWW Men’s Choir, and the Momentum Men’s Group.
