Julia Parker Gabriel
A Beloved Mother and Grandmother
Julia Parker-Gabriel was born June 24, 1944 in Eunice, LA to the late Octavia Edwards and Jessie Parker.
Julia was formally educated in the public school system of Louisiana. Shortly after high school graduation she relocated to Beaumont, Texas. There she began a life of being a wife and mother to her four children. She worked various jobs being a caregiver to the sick and elderly. Julia was very passionate about taking care of her home and family. She enjoyed entertaining her family and friends in her home, making sure everyone felt welcomed and left full of her good cooking.
Julia was very fashionable and took pride in looking her very best at all times. She enjoyed shopping, going to garage sales, and retail stores. She could hang ALL DAY, EVERYDAY!!!! Julia was a firm believer in her LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST and accepted him into her heart at a very young age. Before relocating to Houston, she was an active member of Greater Mt. Zion M.B.C. in Beaumont.
Mrs. Julia Parker-Gabriel is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Lillie Mae Cooper (Ernest), and Lurtene Parker; her Husband: Kelly Gabriel, Jr.; her Daughter: Charisma Gabriel; and a two special Sisters-In-law: Edith and Bernice Gabriel.
